HOW SEEN WORKS

SEEN is a storytelling project with collaboration, innovation and human experience at its core.

We work with communities and world class theatre artists to bring short stories to life using; spoken word, movement and music.

SEEN puts audiences at the centre of the performance as the stories are presented on 360 film.

STORY COLLECTION

First of all - We meet with members of the community. We discuss stories from the area that may be of local, national and international interest.

We have found exciting stories in all sorts of places including clubs, pubs, charity meetings, community centres, sports events, art galleries and more.

Once we have found someone who would like to share their story - we commission them to work with our team to refine their unique perspective on the theme of being / feeling SEEN.

MAKING/DEVISING

Once we have collaborated and agreed on a creative vision for the story, we set about planning the 360 film. At this stage we may expand the team to bring in more performers and creatives such as choreographers, composers and musicians. We always aim to employ local artists if possible.

FILMING

Once the story is ready to capture, we book a local location for a day of filming. We then capture the short film with our 360 degree camera.

We then edit the film and share it for free via a headset available at pop-up events and online.
